Dive in.
Like everyone always talks about how amazing Rise of the Guardians’ animation was but I think we need to all take a step back and look at the work of art that TinTin was like

just

WOW

look at this detail i cant even
When I first saw a trailer on TV I thought it was live action until I saw it again and I was like “wait is it live action”
I FREAK OUT OVER THIS MOVIE ALL THE TIME. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I mean what does she want with the - what do you call these?
I want this gif to play on a loop in front of anyone who thinks that Dean Winchester is ‘a cool guy’ or a ‘tough man’ or ‘definitely not the world’s biggest dork’
How the Geneva Drive (the mechanical step that makes the second hand on a clock work by turning constant rotation into intermittent motion) works.
Oh snap!
As an engineer, this makes me happy.
If only one loop of this gif were equal to one second…
easy peasy

watching this while listening to a clock ticking
is the best decision i have ever made
Man this is rather fascinating.
what sorcery is this. the longer i watch her, the faster she spins.
love when you cant see the loop on a GIF
I love it when this happens, she’s not speeding up, but the failure to slow down appropriately, your brain freaks out.
SHE IS SPEEDING UP
Witchcraft
the amount of people that think these aren’t art forms angers me
testing out new gif animation styles with some inspiration from kim sunggyu’s mv for kontrol, day and night versions
if you don’t know this is from a game, don’t reblog it.
Because you’re not allowed to enjoy creative, smooth animation. How dare you reblog a thing.
You know what would be a thousand times more helpful than being a game snob?
“So this piece of animation is from a really cool game called LIMBO and you should check it out!”
No no, you guys don’t get it. This is a subtle irony by medusahorror commenting on the culture of note-whoring on tumblr. Because in the sentence where they told us not to reblog it if we don’t know it’s from a game, they simultaneously tell us it’s from a game. Therefore the only way to know that you’re not allowed to reblog it is to not read the sentence, but if you read the sentence you become allowed to reblog it. Thus the idea of not reblogging it becomes paradoxically impossible, causing us all to mindlessly reblog it despite the negative comment. It’s actually very clever and I applaud medusahorror’s creative instinct.
….shit
The most dangerous phrase in the language is, “we’ve always done it this way.”
“Come on, let’s mix it up!” The heart surgeon says.
“B-but we’ve always done it this way!” The other replies, “this is how you replace a heart valve.”
“That’s the most dangerous phrase in the human language!” The first surgeon replies haughtily as he inputs a fruit loop into the patient’s heart. “This will be his valve. He will be a fruit loop in a world of Cheerios.”
That comment is the only acceptable response to this quote
The reference to heart surgery makes no sense, since heart surgery has changed so much in the past fifteen years or so.
